New Delhi, Sept 22: Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting on Thursday wherein the ongoing searches at premises linked to the Popular Front of India and action against terror suspects, were believed to have been discussed.

Top officials who attended the high-level conference included National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, and Director General of National Investigation Agency (NIA) Dinkar Gupta.

According to a source who spoke to Press Trust of India, Amit Shah has reviewed the measures taken nationwide to deal with PFI activists and terror suspects.

Notably, a multi-agency operation led by the NIA today resulted in the arrest of 106 activists of the Popular Front of India in 11 states for allegedly aiding terrorist activities across the nation in nearly simultaneous raids across the length and width of the country.
