New Delhi, Nov 8: Prior to his team’s semifinal matchup against England in the T20 World Cup 2022, India skipper Rohit Sharma was fortunate to avoid an injury during Tuesday’s practise session in Adelaide.
On Thursday, India is prepared to face Jos Buttler and company, with New Zealand and Pakistan playing in the first semifinal the day before.
However, the skipper Sharma’s right hand injury during the net session and subsequent need to depart right away for medical attention made the team management perspire. It was said that the Indian opener was obviously dissatisfied with the circumstances.
The India skipper was spotted applying an ice pack to his injured hand, and it appeared to have worked as Sharma went back to the practise area and resumed batting.
