New Delhi, Nov 17: Accused Aaftab Poonawala (28), who strangled his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar to death and cut her body into 35 pieces is scheduled to be presented by the Delhi Police in Delhi’s Saket court today.

Notably, the police will submit a request to the court requesting the accused’s remand.

According to the report, Delhi police stated on Wednesday that they would ask the court for his remand.

Notably, police detained Aaftab for the murder of Shraddha in May of this year. He is accused of murdering Shraddha on May 18 and chopping her body into 35 pieces, which he then allegedly dumped across the city over a number of days after midnight.

A narco test on Aaftab has been approved by Delhi Court in the meantime. After Delhi police began looking into a missing person report submitted by the woman’s father on Saturday, he was detained.
