Jamshedpur, Dec 6:  The clear sky coupled with a north-westerly wind pattern will pay for a further drop in minimum readings across the state in the next 48 hours, said a forecast issued by  IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre.

According to weathermen, the dry and crisp north-westerly wind was dominating over the state and this was resulting in a drop in minimum readings.

Statistics revealed that the minimum readings dropped below 10 degrees Celsius at Khunti, Ramgarh, Simdega and Daltonganj.

Capital Ranchi notched around 12 degree Celsius while Jamshedpur was a bit warmer at 14 degrees Celsius.

The minimum readings fluctuated between 11 and 12 degree Celsius at Deoghar, Giridih and several other districts of the Santhal Pargana region.

The weatherman said fog and mist would continue to prevail in most parts of the state during the next 72 hours.

Head of Ranchi Met Centre Abhishek Anand said that no significant synoptic system prevails over the state

“In chart analysis and other Met observations we do not see any adverse condition which might impact Jharkhand’s weather condition, ” he said.
