Hazaribag, Dec 6: The Adani Foundation, under its CSR programme, organised a free health check-up camp at Upgraded Middle School located in Mahugai Kala Panchayat on Tuesday under the Gondalpura mining project. Villages in huge numbers benefitted from this health camp.

On this occasion, a team of paramedical staff under the leadership of General Physician Dr RK Ranjan provided various medical facilities free of cost to the villagers. In this day-long camp from 11:00 am, the health of women, children and elders of the village was examined.

In the medical check-up camp, the villagers voluntarily came forward and took free consultations from the doctor regarding their health issues. Common issues noticed in villagers were eyesight problems, diabetes, body pain, cough, and cold. Vitals such as blood pressure, weight and pulse were also checked.

While talking with the villagers, the doctor has advised them to take care during winter as during this time people, especially children are prone to fall ill. To boost immunity, it is very important to include some physical activity and take a proper nutritious diet to fight against it.
