Lucknow, Dec 8: The latest trends indicate that Dimple Yadav, a candidate for the Mainpuri parliamentary seat and the wife of former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, is in the lead.
Following the passing of SP patriarch Mulayam Singh, the Mainpuri seat in parliament became vacant. Raghuraj Singh Shakya of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was in last place, according to the preliminary trends of the by-election vote tallying.
