Ranchi, Dec.9: BJP legislature party chief and former chief minister of Jharkhand Babulal Marandi is planning to produce a film titled ‘Gang of Sahibganj” in the tune of ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, a Hindi film produced on gangs of criminals in 2012 by Anurag Kashyap, and written by Kashyap and Zeishan Quadri.
Marandi shared his plan through a tweet on December 7.Through his tweet he also attempted to give an outline of the screen story.
“Dy SP Pramod Mishra and SP Anuranjan Kispotta were posted at PTC. With special blessings of Pankaj Mishra first Pramod reached Sahibganj and then helped Kispotta getting posted there. To run the business of loot and terror uninterruptedly they managed to get three deputy commissioners transferred from the district in a short duration. When they got the DC of their choice they made…” the tweets suggest.
The tweet has come in such a situation that Pankaj Mishra, the representative of chief minister, is in jail for illegal mining while police officials are being summoned one after another by the ED for helping Mishra in carrying out the business of illegal mining.
Through his tweet Marandi, a former union minister, has also expressed his desire to contact producers and artists of Gangs of Wasseypur.
