Ranchi, Dec.21: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday expressed his commitment to a proper recruitment policy in the state.

This came to the fore after Congress MLA Pradeep Yadav and CPI (ML) MLA Vinod Singh asked him to speak on the matter before apprising him of youth agitation and the Opposition made an uproar in the house on the issue.

The CM said he is intentional to find a better way after the high court scrapped the recruitment policy formulated by his government. He said he will keep in mind how far relaxation in the age limit can be given and how poor rural youths educated in government schools can be benefitted.

He said that the government has already reduced the fee for filling recruitment test forms and is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that local youths get 100 percent class III and class IV jobs.

Soren went on to say that the fight for ensuring 100 percent employment to locals is required to be fought in the same way as the fight for Jharkhand as a separate state. He said the government is always with the youth and will adopt the same path they will suggest taking.

The CM attacked the union government for reducing job opportunities in the army, railway and banking sectors. He said that after the union government reduced job opportunities in these fields, the load has come on state governments and efforts are being made to ensure proper employment opportunities for youth.

He also accused the Opposition of cleverly filling termites in the roots of Jharkhand.

Earlier, the CM sent a delegation comprising MLAs Lambodar Mahto, Dipika Pandey Singh, Sudivya Kumar Sonu and Vinod Singh to talk to the agitating youths and express solidarity with them.
