Ranchi, Dec 22: Dates for several competitive examinations have been released for the year 2023. These include JEE Main, VITEEE, BISAT, Manipal Entrance Test, PESSAT, NEET 2023, SRM Engineering Entrance, and COMEDK.
JEE Main
The NTA has announced the important dates for the JEE Mains 2023 at www.jeemain.nta.nic.in. The session 1 of JEE Main exam 2023 will be conducted on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31, while the second phase will be held on April 06, 08, 10, 11 and 12.
The JEE Main registration 2023 form has also been released. With the help of the JEE Main 2023 exam date candidates can now keep track of all the upcoming events of the Joint Entrance Examination Main. The JEE Main 2023 exam is expected to be held twice as a CBT.
Application Fee
The male candidates of the General, OBC and EWS category will have to pay Rs 1000 as the application fee, while female candidates will have to pay Rs 800. Meanwhile, the SC-ST and disabled candidates will have to pay Rs 500.
JEE ADVANCED
After the results of JEE Mains’ January and April sessions, top 2.5 lakh candidates will be selected for the JEE Advanced 2023. However, NTA is yet to release any further information about the examination. Although, the exams may take place either in the last week of May or the first week of June, 2023..
VITEEE
The process of filing application for the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination has already begun. Candidates must complete the online VITEEE 2023 application form at www.viteee.vit.ac.in. The last date to fill the VIT BTech form 2023 is March 31. The VITEEE exam will be conducted between April 15 and April 21.
The VITEEE exam 2023 will be administered online as a computer-based test that will last for two hours and thirty minutes. The VITEEE exam will consist of 5 sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Aptitude, and English. However, there will be 125 questions overall, all in the MCQ format. The VITEEE 2023 exam won’t have any negative marks. There will be one mark given for each accurate response.
BITSAT
The Birla Institute of Technology and Science ie BITS Pilani has not yet announced the dates of BITSAT 2023 exam. The students are eagerly waiting for the BITSAT 2023 exam dates.
The dates of BITSAT 2023 exam will be released on the official website of the institute at www.bitsadmission.com. Candidates interested in B.Tech courses of BITS, will need to appear in BISTAT 2023.
Notably, BITS entrance exam is organised by the institute every year. This exam is conducted in the form of CBT mode i.e. computer based test. BITSAT exam is of three hours. It consists of four parts and the exam is for 130 marks. There will be questions from Physics in the first part, Chemistry in the second part, English proficiency and logical reasoning in the third part and Mathematics/Biology in the fourth part. For every correct answer a candidate will earn 3 points, while for every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted.
MANIPAL ENTRANCE TEST (MET)
The Manipal Academy of Higher Education has invited applications for forms for the MET 2023. Through this entrance exam, applicants can get admission to various UG and PG courses provided by the University. MET 2023 application forms are now available for the candidates and can submit the same from the direct link at www.manipal.edu. The dates for the exam are yet to be released, however, it is expected to be released soon. The application fee for all the courses is Rs 600 and the entrance exam fee for selected courses is Rs 1400.
Manipal Entrance Test 2022 is conducted for 2 hours 30 minutes. Questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English and General Aptitude are asked on the online MET. The MET 2022 rank list will be prepared on the basis of scores in the MET (60 per cent weightage) and marks secured in 10+2 qualifying exam (40 per cent weightage).
PESSAT
The process of application for the PES Scholastic Aptitute Test for entrance in PES University has begun. The entrance examination for the same will be held in May and June 2023. Interested candidates will be able to complete the application process for Rs.1150. The center for the examination will be decided in different cities of the country.
Enrollment will be done through the NATA entrance exam in the architecture faculty of the institution. Multiple choice questions will be asked in the online exam of three hours. There will be a total of 180 questions in four sections. There will be 60 questions each from Physics and Maths, 40 questions from Chemistry and 20 questions from English.
NEET
The NTA has released information regarding the entrance test NEET 2023 for admissions in medical colleges all over the country. The examination will be conducted all over the nation in several centres on May 7. The process of application for forms will soon begin.
SRM ENGINEERING ENTRANCE
The online exam will be of two and a half hours. Soon the exam dates will be announced along with starting the application process. Total 125 questions in the exam will be multiple choice based. Questions related to Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and Aptitude will be asked in the paper.
In case of the Biotechnology entrance test, instead of maths questions related to Biology will be asked. Through the entrance test, admission will be given to the campuses of SRM Institute of Science and Technology at Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu and Amaravati and Delhi campuses in Andhra Pradesh.
COMEDK
COMED-K will soon be organised for entrance in engineering colleges of Karnataka. Soon the process of registration will start. 180 questions were asked in the 2022 entrance exam. Of these, 60 questions each were asked in Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
