Jamshedpur, Jan 19: The prevailing cloud cover is going to stay for the next couple of days and this will result in a rise in minimum temperature, stated a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre.
Notably, no significant synoptic system exists over the state. In the Northern parts of the state, westerly to north-westerly wind, while in the rest parts; easterly to south-easterly wind prevail at lower levels of the atmosphere.
The Western Disturbance is a trough in the middle tropospheric level with its axis at 5.8 Km above mean sea level.

Moreover, fog and mist will continue to prevail in the morning and partly cloudy sky later in southern and adjoining central parts while mainly clear sky later in the remaining parts of the state.
Shallow to moderate fog will prevail in the morning at isolated places over eastern and adjoining central parts of Jharkhand during the next three days.
The minimum temperature across the state shows a rising trend with Jamshedpur and several other parts of Kolhan recording 15-16 degree Celsius.
