Deoghar, Jan 31: Cyber police today arrested a 23-year-old man Shamshed Ansari from Pindari village in Deoghar for cyber fraud. The police also recovered sim cards and other items from him.
DSP of cyber police Sumit Prasad confirmed his arrest and added that more persons are involved with him in cybercrime.
Notably, Deoghar police rescued Ansari a week ago from three kidnappers when he was abducted on January 24 from Baba Baidyanath Baba Dham in Deoghar under the Town PS area
Deoghar police mounted pressure on involved criminals by following the location of calls on the basis of CDR reports as kidnappers used to call for ransom from different numbers.
After further investigation, cyber police got information about Shamshed Ansari and soon started an investigation. They found that not only Shamshed but many others close to him are involved in cyber cheating.
