Ranchi, July 7: The BJP has dared Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren to take lessons from Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan who ensured justice with a tribal man without wasting any time when the matter came into his knowledge.
BJP state president Babulal Marandi asked CM Soren to order a CBI probe into the matter of death of tribal inspector Umesh Kacchap to ensure justice with her daughter Viniti Kacchap running from pillar to post for a proper investigation into her father’s death.
According to her, the inspector posted at Dhanbad district’s Topchanchi police station committed suicide after he was pressurized to save corrupt officers extorting money by filing fake cases against drivers.
Marandi informed Soren that the CID and the forensic team had found the police officers guilty in the preliminary investigation but when the government was formed claiming to protect tribal interests, the government closed the file on the death of the tribal officer.
BJP spokesperson Pratul Nath Shahdeo echoed the same feeling saying on the lines of Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Hemant Soren should also make atonement by apologizing to the families of thousands of tribal native daughters who were victims of rape and murder.
