Ujjain, Sept 21: In the Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh, four family members, including two children, were discovered dead inside their home under suspicious circumstances on Thursday, police stated.
The event, according to Ujjain police officials, happened at the district’s Mahavir colony, which is within the jurisdiction of Jivaji police station.
Manoj Rathore (40), his wife Mamta Rathore, their 12-year-old son and six-year-old daughter, were all identified as the family’s deceased members.
CSP Sumit Agarwal said, “We received information at around 12 pm that four bodies were found in a house in Mahavir colony under Jivaji police station in the district. Acting on it, we reached the spot and found the bodies in the house.”
Manoj was found in a hanging position, while his wife and two children were discovered lying on the ground. Some bodies had foams in their noses, but the cause of death wouldn’t be revealed until the post-mortem report, he added.
Based on the provided information, Manoj resided in a rented residence and was engaged in the trade of selling toys.
