New Delhi, Oct 10: Over 1,600 people have been killed so far on both sides in the ongoing battle between Israel and Hamas militants.
During the four-day standoff, Gaza Health Ministry reports a total of 704 casualties, comprising 143 children, 105 women and more than 4,000 individuals injured in Israeli airstrikes.
Furthermore, in Israel, there have been no less than 900 fatalities and 2,600 injuries due to the Hamas attack.
Hamas military spokesperson Abu Ubaida has made a threat, stating that in the event of an attack on civilians in the Gaza Strip without warning, Israeli civilian hostages could be killed by Hamas terrorists. He stated that for each instance of Israeli airstrikes targeting civilian homes in Gaza without warning, Hamas would carry out and publicly broadcast the execution of an Israeli captive.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged to eliminate the hiding places of the Hamas terrorist organization. He emphasized that Israel has just initiated its attacks on Hamas. “We didn’t want this war. It was forced upon us in the most brutal and savage way. But though Israel didn’t start this war, Israel will finish it,” AP quoted him as saying.
Netanyahu compared the radical Islamist terrorist organization ISIS to Hamas in a tweet posted on Tuesday. “Hamas is ISIS. And just as the forces of civilization united to defeat ISIS, the forces of civilization must support Israel in defeating Hamas,” he wrote.
Hamas terrorists bound, burned and executed children.
They are savages.
Hamas is ISIS.
And just as the forces of civilization united to defeat ISIS, the forces of civilization must support Israel in defeating Hamas.
