New Delhi: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced a “Delhi Chalo” campaign demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, saying that if he does not step down by October 10, its supporters from across the country will march towards Jantar Mantar in Delhi.

Campaign Aimed at Defending Democracy and Fair Elections

The party announced the campaign through its official X handle, stating that its objective is to raise a voice in defence of democracy and for free and fair elections.

“Wherever We Are Stopped Will Become Jantar Mantar”

The CJP said that if police or security forces stop protesters anywhere on their way to Delhi, the agitation will continue from the very spot where they are halted. The party said it would turn that place into its “Jantar Mantar,” adding that it will follow the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi in this campaign to protect democracy.
