Delhi Police have deployed over 20,000 personnel, including paramilitary forces, to maintain safety during the celebrations. Key measures include:
•Connaught Place Restrictions: Entry for private and public transport will be restricted from 8 PM on December 31. Rajiv Chowk Metro Station exit gates will close at 9 PM.

•Traffic Measures: Road closures around India Gate and Connaught Place begin at 7 PM, with alternative routes provided. Vehicle stickers and restricted zones will be enforced.
Delhi Metro Restrictions:
•Post-9 PM, Rajiv Chowk station will permit entry but restrict exits. QR tickets for this station will be unavailable after 8 PM.
Traffic and Security Measures in Other Cities
Gurugram:
•Checkpoints operational from 9 PM to monitor drink-driving.
•Traffic diversions near MG Road and Cyber Hub from 6 PM.
Kolkata:
•Public celebrations allowed until 1 AM with strict monitoring starting 8 PM.
•Park Street and Esplanade diversions effective from 5 PM.
Hyderabad:
•Random drink-driving checks from 9 PM.
•Pubs and restaurants to close by 1 AM.
•Traffic changes near Jubilee Hills and HITEC City from 8 PM.
