RTE Admission Date Extended Till April 20 In Ranchi

Ranchi: The last date for online applications for admission under the Right to Education Act (RTE) 2009 for the academic session 2025-26 has been extended till April 20. The admission is applicable for 25% reserved seats in entry-level classes of unaided private schools (excluding minority schools).

This decision has been taken on the instructions of Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri. Earlier, the last date for application was set for April 10.

Eligible Categories for RTE Admission

Under RTE, children from economically weaker sections (with an annual family income of less than ₹72,000) and disadvantaged groups like Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC), Extremely Backward Classes (EBC), Minority Communities, children with more than 40% disability, and orphans are eligible for admission in these reserved seats.

How To Apply

Parents can apply online for admission in the entry-level classes of schools through the official website — rteranchi.in.

For the convenience of applicants, the application date has been extended by 10 days. All other terms and conditions will remain unchanged.
