Ranchi: The ongoing investigation into the alleged JSSC CGL paper leak by the CID has so far found no solid proof of an actual leak, asserting instead that the controversy may have been used as a pretext for financial fraud.
FSL Report Validates Key Mobile Evidence
While students had submitted their mobile phones for forensic analysis, the newly released FSL reports confirm critical findings. The forensic team validated WhatsApp chats on two mobile phones that occurred a day before the examination, confirming them as authentic. Additionally, the reports confirmed that a student at Kumar B.Ed. College in Dhanbad had taken photos of answer keys before the exam started. Metadata and location data supported that these photos were taken within the exam center, prior to the official exam time.
Mobile Devices Untampered; CID Still Denies Leak
The FSL clearly stated that none of the nine mobile phones analyzed had been tampered with in any way. Despite this, the CID continues to maintain that there was no actual paper leak, but rather a scam conducted under the guise of one. Senior High Court Advocate Ajit Kumar, representing the petition for a CBI probe into the matter, cited a sworn affidavit by JSSC. According to it, CID’s analysis of the nine mobile phones revealed 153 answers, 60 of which were directly related to the examination content.
