Ranchi: Congress Rajya Sabha MP Imran Pratapgarhi launched a sharp attack on the central government and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, saying Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched a Shiksha Nyay Yatra from Delhi to Kota to fight for students’ futures and the education system, while repeated paper leaks continue to go unaddressed by the government.
NEET 2026 Leak Pushed Students to Despair
Pratapgarhi praised Ranchi student Sarthak for raising his voice against paper leaks and said the NEET 2026 paper leak has affected the futures of lakhs of students across the country. He said such incidents have caused severe mental stress, with several students being driven to take extreme steps out of despair. The Congress MP said the party has paid tribute to such students and expressed condolences to their families.
Who Is Protecting the Paper Leak Mafia, Asks Congress
Pratapgarhi said the real question is not where the paper leaked from, but who is behind the leaks and who is protecting them. He demanded a probe into alleged links between the paper leak mafia and the Education Minister, and called on Dharmendra Pradhan to resign from his post immediately.
Major Protest Planned in Delhi on August 9
The MP announced that a large protest will be held in Delhi on August 9 to press for students’ demands. He also demanded the release of a clear and transparent calendar for competitive examinations.
Army and Air Force Needed to Secure Exam Papers, Says MP
Pratapgarhi pointed out that if the army and air force have to be deployed to secure question papers, it raises serious questions about both the functioning and the expenditure on the education system, underlining that accountability must be established urgently.
