Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi stepped up his attack on the government on Monday, demanding the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah, asserting that PM Modi and Shah could not escape the consequences of their actions. Speaking within the Parliament complex, Gandhi claimed that the alleged police brutality against student protesters had irreparably damaged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s image, one he said could never be repaired.
