Patna: Assembly elections in UP are to be held in 2022, but preparations for it have already started. All the parties are engaged in the exercise of contesting elections in their own way. On the other hand, Mukesh Sahni, the chief of the Vikassheel Insan Party, who entered the UP elections for the first time after coming out of Bihar, is engaged in the preparations for the party in his own style. Vikas Insaan Party (VIP), the party of Bihar government minister Mukesh Sahni, has announced to celebrate the martyrdom day of Phoolan Devi in ??Bihar and UP on 25 July.
During the program, the party will install 18 feet high statue of Phoolan Devi in ??18 divisions of Uttar Pradesh. This information was given by the National President of VIP and Minister of Animal Husbandry Department Mukesh Sahni. This whole exercise is being done keeping in view the UP elections. Mukesh Sahni has recently returned from a tour of UP and has an eye on the votes of the Nishad (Sailor) community there.
VIP looking for role model for Nishad society
Mukesh Sahni said that 20 years ago Veerangana Phoolan Devi was murdered. Phoolan Devi was born on 10 August 1963 in a small village Sheikhpura Purva in UP in the house of a Mallah community. He was harassed by certain sections of the village, but he never bowed down. Struggle and traveled till Parliament. He did the work of awakening the light in the Nishad society all over North India. Mukesh Sahni said that Martyrdom Day will be celebrated by installing 18 feet high statue of him in 18 divisions of UP. Under this, the construction of idols of Phoolan Devi is going on in her official residence. He said that Martyrdom Day would be organized up to the district level. All preparations have been made in this regard.
