Ranchi, Aug.20: The BJP< the main opposition party in the state will form a human chain at 264 blocks across the state to expose the Hemant government’s failure in fulfilling its commitment made during the assembly election that took place 19 months ago in the state.

BJP state president and Rajya Sabha member Deepak Prakash told this to the media persons in a press conference at the party headquarters in Harmu Housing Colony justifying the action pointing out the failures of government.

“During 19 months of Hament government’s rule, Jharkhand has started moving towards Jungle

Raj. The number of reports of women exploitation, extortion, Naxal activities, and murder of tribals has increased. Development is zero. Neither a single kilometer of road has been constructed nor any electric pole has been erected for electrification. Plunder of minerals is on the rise. Coal smuggling is on. False cases are being registered. Not a single job has been given,” Prakash said.

Prakash, on the occasion, said that the JMM government is heading towards revenue loss as it has given tender of the liquor business to a syndicate by doing some ‘illegal transaction.’ He said the party will soon knock on the door of the IT department and ED on the issue.

Criticizing the employment policy of the state government, BJP state president Prakash said the government has disrespect for Dev-bhasa, Rashtra Bhasa and international language English by giving less importance to Sanskrit, Hindi and Sanskrit.

He said though the party is not against Urdu but the way Sanskrit has been ignored suggests that the Hemant Soren government is involved in divisive politics of vote bank and the policy does not benefit candidates of general caste studying outside the state for better knowledge. He said that the present policy is an attack on the constitution.
