Dhanbad, Sept 11: The allotment of a room for Namaz in the assembly premises is the prerogative of the government and RSS can’t comment on it,” said Rakesh Lal, RSS Sah Prant Karyavah of Jharkhand here on Saturday.
While briefing media persons at Rajkamal Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Ashok Nagar over the ongoing three-day meeting of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Rakesh Lal to a query replied that it is prerogative of the government to allot a Namaz room and RSS has nothing to say about it.
“The Assembly has set up a committee over the allotment of a room and it seems the government would change the decision. However, RSS would make the comment on the issue only after the decision of the government,” he said.
Rakesh Lal said RSS is a Hindu organization and does not believe in casteism. Even in Shakha classes, a Swayamsevak does not know each other’s caste despite playing together for 25 years. “RSS believes in social harmony and wants availability of graveyards, drinking water, and temples for all people,” he said.
Briefing over the decision in last two days meeting of Mohan Bhagwat, Sah Prant Karyavah Rakesh Lal informed that the RSS chief took a report of Swayamsevaks’ role in service of patients in the first and second wave of Covid infection in Jharkhand.
He said the RSS chief has advised the government to cooperate in combating the Corona pandemic. “In the wake of a possible third wave of Covid, the RSS would open an isolation ward in each block of Jharkhand. For this place of isolation, ward and workers have been already selected. The arrangement is being made for training of workers,” he said.
At the Dhanbad meeting, the RSS expressed concern over the degradation of the environment, especially increasing barren land due to the use of urea, and planned to launch awareness among people for planting herbal plants.
The RSS also discussed the changing culture in the family due to mobile in the hand of children and said guardians should watch whether a child is misusing mobile or not.
