Washington, Dec 9: HBO Max unveiled the first look from its upcoming special ‘Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts’, which is coming on January 1, 2022.
HBO Max shared the first look on their Instagram account and twitter handle.

The first look will give you a nostalgic trip as it shows different characters, Daniel Radcliffe, Emam Watson and Rupert Grint smiling and sitting in what appears to be the Gryffindor Common Room.
The reunion will mark the 20th anniversary of the eight-movie series that began with ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone’, released in November 2001. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, Helena Bonham Carter, Gary Oldman, Ralph Fiennes and Chris Columbus among others are in the list of attendees.
Earlier this week, HBO Max released a teaser of the reunion that didn’t include Radcliffe, Watson or Grint, but teased other alumni like Coltrane and Lewis receiving their invitations to attend the reunion.
Notably, ‘Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts’ is produced by Warner Bros. The reunion special is executive produced by Casey Patterson of Casey Patterson Entertainment and Pulse Films.
