Chattisgarh: Encounter underway between CRPF and Naxals in Sukma

Sukma, Dec 31: One CoBRA personnel was injured in an encounter which is underway between the Central Reserve Police Force’s (CRPF) CoBRA special operations unit and Naxals in Chattisgarh’s Sukma district.

The injured jawan has been evacuated by chopper.

“Our troops holding are the ground,” said CRPF Inspector-general (IG) D Prakash.

One CoBRA personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) got injured in an IED blast near the Kistaram area of Chhattisgarh's Sukma district during an exchange of fire with Naxals when the troops were out on special operation: CRPF
