Dhanbad, Jan 18: The online application for subsidy on petrol in the state would be filled from January 26, said the official today on Tuesday.
Dhanbad deputy commissioner (DC) Sandip Singh said that all beneficiaries holding ration cards under National Food Safety Act (NFSA) and Jharkhand State Food Safety Systems (JSFSS) should have to be covered under this ambitious scheme (petrol on subsidy) of the state government.
“All Priority Household (AHH) ration card holders, Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) and Green card holders of state can apply for the subsidy on petrol under this project. The chief minister of Jharkhand would formally inaugurate this scheme on January 26,” said deputy commissioner Sandip Singh.
The DC said that for getting subsidy on petrol ,the beneficiaries must have ration cards of National Food Safety Act and Jharkhand State Food Safety System. The name of all family members must be mentioned in the application form with proof of Aadhar Card. The applicant should also have an Aadhar Card linked bank account number and mobile phone number.
“ Most important is that the applicant should be bike registered in his name and it should be registered in Jharkhand only then he would be entitled to apply and get subsidy,” said DC Sandip Singh.
DC said for getting benefit, the applicant has to file an online application on website of jsfss.jharkhand.gov.in with filling up his number of ration card and Aadhar card numbers. Thereafter applicants would get an OTP. After verification of OTP applicants would have to put in their vehicle registration number and driving license number.
“For filing application facility is available at cyber cafe , block office or district supply office,” said DC Sandip Singh.
