JPSC Mains exam to be conducted at nine centers in Ranchi

Ranchi, Jan 21: Ranchi district administration is all set to conduct the Combined Civil Services Main (Written) Competitive Examination-2021 at nine different examination centers across the capital city.

The examination is organized by Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC), Ranchi and will be held on 28th, 29th  and 30th January 2022.

The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will start from 10:00 a.m. and will end at 01:00 p.m. The second shift will start from 02:00 p.m. and end at 05:00 p.m.

Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, Ranchi and Senior Superintendent of Police, Ranchi, have deputed police force and magistrates for conducting the examination in a malpractice free environment at these examination centers.

In view of the possibility of breaking law and order by crowding the examination center, prohibitory orders have been issued by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sadar, Ranchi within a radius of 200 meters of the examination centers which are as follows:-

  1. Gathering of 5 or more than 5 persons at one place except officials/employees engaged in government work, government programs, religious rituals and funerals.
  2. Use of any kind of amplifying device.
  3. Carrying any kind of weapon like a gun, rifle, revolver, bomb, gunpowder etc. except the officials/employees engaged in government work.
  4. Carrying any kind of traditional weapons like sticks, arrow-bow, spear etc. except the officials/employees engaged in government work.
  5. To organize any kind of meeting or general meeting.

This prohibitory order will be effective from 07:00 a.m. to 08:00 p.m. every day from 28th-30th January 2022 within a radius of 200 meters of the examination centers.
