Ranchi, Feb.26: A candidate who cracked the 6th JPSC examination Faizan Sarwar challenged the order of the Jharkhand High Court division bench upholding the order of the single judge bench that directs JPSC to cancel its old result and publish another one subtracting the marks of qualifying papers.

The order has been challenged by a special leave petition (SLP).

On the other hand, those happy with the judgement of the division bench have also moved the apex court filing a caveat in the matter.

Section 148A of the Civil Procedure Code, 1908 contains provisions relating to a caveat petition. A caveat petition is filed by a person to the court, stating that if someone files an application against him/her, the court must issue a notice of such application to the person filing the caveat.
