Daltonganj, Feb 28: The RJD knows how to make a comeback politically and it will definitely make a comeback faster than anyone can expect, said the state working president Sanjay Singh Yadav today in a press conference in Daltonganj. Yadav hails from Palamu’s Hussainabad subdivision.
He said that the RJD has immense political potential and hence, no political force can dub it as politically irrelevant in Jharkhand.
“Our cadres are scattered around and we are to collect them and we will again be a political force to reckon with,” he reiterated.
Yadav said it is true that the RJD has just one MLA in Jharkhand but no one should forget that the party paved the way for JMM and Congress to form the coalition government in the state.
“We left seats for them and they are now in power,” said Yadav. “Those in power can’t afford not to look towards the RJD in Jharkhand,” he added.
In a hard-hitting reminder, Yadav said that the wrong stand of Babulal Marandi on the domicile issue saw him out of power for many years. The RJD does not wish to see such a fate of Hemant Soren if he continues to follow the stand on the Bhojpuri and Magahi languages.
It is time that the Hemant Soren government should roll back its language policy as the time is running out. The RJD is all out for Bhojpuri, Magahi, Angika and other regional languages.
On the MY (Muslim-Yadav) combination, he said that this combination will gain strength in Jharkhand as it has done wonders in the UP election.
The RJD state working president could not hide his anger when he said that one Congress MLA, who is a minister in the government, has blasted this government led by the JMM and so there is not much left to be said.
“We have just one minister of our party in the cabinet and thus, we are numerically poor to wield more influence in the cabinet,” he said.
The veteran face of the RJD Ramnath Chandravanshi, who had once deserted it to join the BJP but now again back in the fold of the RJD, was too enthusiastic about the visit of the state working president Sanjay Singh Yadav.
