Ferozpur, March 7: A Pakistani drone was shot down by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel at the International Border (IB) in Punjab’s Ferozpur sector on Monday.
At around 3 a.m., BSF troops detected a humming sound coming from the Pakistani side of the border to the Indian side. According to a BSF spokesperson, they then lit the area with para bombs and fired at the drone.
They have also seized a green colour bag that was attached to the drone and contained four packets in yellow wrappings and one small packet in black wrapping, informed the BSF.

The total weight of the suspected contraband item, including packing materials, is roughly 4.17 kgs, and the black-wrapped packet weighs about 250 grammes, according to the BSF spokesperson.
Notably, another Pakistani drone was shot down by the Border Security Force at the International Border in the Jammu area on Saturday.
