Dhanbad, March 9: East Central Railway Zone (ECR) Hajipur has cancelled six up and down passengers trains of Dhanbad – Gaya section and diverted the route of five express trains tomorrow ( March 10) for road under bridge (RUB) construction between Nichitpur- Tetulmari stations of Dhanbad rail division.
A senior officer of the Dhanbad rail division said that besides the cancellation of passenger trains and diversion of the route of five express trains, two other express trains 12329 Sealdah- Anandvihar West Bengal Express and 13151 Kolkata- Jammu Tawi Express would start 30 and 40 minutes late respectively.
The passenger trains that have been cancelled tomorrow are 03545 up and down 03546 Asansol –Gaya-Asansol MEMU, 03553 up and 03554 Asansol – Varanasi Asansol MEMU, 03503up and down 03504 Burdwan – Hatia Burdwan MEMU.
Five long route express trains that have been diverted and would run through Dhanbad- Chandrapur (DC) line are 12381 Howrah- New Delhi Purva Express, 13167 Kolkata -Agra Cantt Express, 13152 Jammu Tawi- Kolkata Express, 12330 Anand Vihar- Sealdah Express, 12988 Ajmer- Sealdah Express.
The official said the express trains would come to Dhanbad from Howrah and be diverted through Katras – Chandrapura – Gomoh line.
