Ranchi, March 21: A seven-day placement drive was organized by the Marwari College for students that have passed out in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 for hiring in the IT company Accenture on Monday. The drive that began on March 21 is to end on March 28.
Students of all streams including BA, BSc and BComm may apply for posts in the company and will be selected through a 60-day online training programme. Notably, students will first be shortlisted after the preliminary screening test.
The selected students will then have to undergo 60 days of the online training programme with a minimum of 90 per cent attendance. They will also have to regularly attend their internal assessment test process with a good performance.
Interested students may submit their CV along with their 10th, 12th and UG mark sheets from March 21 to March 28, 2022, between 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Marwai College Placement Cell.
The preliminary screening test process for Accenture will be conducted on March 29, 2022, at 12 noon.
The cut off for applying in the selection process in Accenture is 50 per cent in graduation, wherein students that have passed out in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 may apply. The age limit for the job is 28 years.
As per officials, the CTC (Cost to Company) will be 2.4 lakhs, however, after one month it is set to be four lakhs.
Meanwhile, on Monday six MBA students from Marwari College were selected as Business Development Managers in the State Bank of India (SBI) at a package of Rs three lakhs with incentive.
This placement process was done through a campus placement drive wherein 70 students from the MBA department participated in different rounds between March 9 and March 14.
Vice-Chancellor Dr Kamini Kumar, Principal Dr Manoj Kumar and MBA Co-ordinator Dr RR Sharma, along with Assistant Coordinator Placement Cell Anubhav Chakraborty congratulated the selected students including Pankaj Kumar Soni, Vaishali Gupta, Ankita Gupta, Mohd. Kashif Akhtar, Mohd. Mumtaz and Nikita Kumari.
