Deoghar, Mar 28: CCTV cameras will now keep a watch on the devotees arriving at Baba Baidyanath Temple. Around 80 cameras have been installed at various strategic locations throughout the temple grounds, from which all temple-going worshippers will be observed.
Not only this, but the temple has implemented a head counting system for the first time. The purpose of installing a head counting machine is to determine the exact number of devotees who enter the ‘garbhagrih.’ It will also allow the administration to know how many shrigh darshanam coupons are used by devotees.
Using the shirgh darshanam coupon, a devotee can gain access to the garbhagriha by a short route. For a shrigh darshanam coupon, one must pay a fee based on the occasion. It costs between Rs.250 and Rs.500 for each person. Minors, on the other hand, are exempt from paying.
