Daltonganj, July 5: Admissions in all three faculties Arts, Science and Commerce for intermediate classes have finally begun at the Janta Shivratri College Daltonganj.

The principal, Dr Rana Pratap Singh, said we have allowed admissions in all three faculties for the intermediate classes for the session 2023 -25 from today.

He said we have with us a public relations department press release of the CMO Jharkhand wherein the state government has permitted admissions into intermediate classes for the session 2023-25.

JS College Daltonganj is one of the three constituent colleges in Daltonganj. JS College thus becomes the first constituent college here to take admissions in the three faculties for the intermediate classes for the session 2023 -25.

Dr Rana Pratap Singh said, “We took this decision to open admissions here in our college following huge public demand for it as every day here on the campus lots of guardians and students used to pester us for admission into the intermediate classes”.

Dr Singh said the SC and ST students can take direct admission if they have 50 per cent marks in the matriculation. It’s 60 per cent marks for direct admission in the intermediate classes for the general candidates. For OBCs and girls it is 55 per cent marks at the matriculation level for direct admission, added Dr Singh.
