Mumbai, May 13: Akbaruddin Owaisi, the leader of the AIMIM, has made derogatory remarks about Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray on Friday. At a conference in Aurangabad, Akbaruddin, without mentioning Raj Thackeray, said “I have not come here to answer anyone, nor to call anyone bad. I don’t want to answer anyone. I have a MP and you are homeless, you are missing, you have been evicted from your own house. I would say that those who bark, let them bark.”

Chandrakant Khaire, a former MP and Shiv Sena leader, accused Akbaruddin of attempting to stir up political scandal. He went on to say that no one would visit the tomb, neither Hindus nor Muslims, because Aurangzeb was the cruellest Mughal ruler. However, Owaisi and his party leaders are attempting to stir up controversy in order to gain political advantage.
