Banaskantha, April 10: Union Home Minister Amit Shah opened an observation point at the India-Pakistan International Border in Nadabet, Gujarat’s Banaskantha district on Sunday.
On the occasion, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel and Tourism Minister Purnesh Modi joined Home Minister Amit Shah.
The Seema Darshan Project aims to increase the number of tourists who visit the region. It is being built along the Wagah-Attari border, but there will be no military exercises between Indian and Pakistani troops here.
The first such border observing point in Gujarat would be at Nadabet. To attract people from all around the world, a visitors gallery, photo gallery, weapon, tanks, shops and restaurants, including souvenir shops, are being built. There will be an exhibition centre where we will convey the stories of the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. A museum and a laser show will open soon as well.
Tourists can also visit a watch tower to gain a bird’s eye perspective of the international border and see the gorgeous sunset. Tourists can also participate in a variety of other activities. There’s also a T-junction, which is where the Seema Darshan begins. Ajay Prahari’s monument has been erected nearby.
