Ranchi, Jan.24: Amity School of Engineering & Technology, Ranchi and Amity Institute of Information Technology, Ranchi, Amity University Jharkhand organized a two-day long “International Conference on Materials, Machines & Information Technology – 2022” (ICMMIT-2022), from 24th Jan 2022 to 25th Jan 2022 through online mode (Zoom).
The theme of ICMMIT-2022 was shaping the future with information technology, machines, manufacturing & advanced materials.
Some of the salient features of ICMMIT-2022 were that the total number of papers selected for presentation at COMMIT-2022 were 135 papers, and the total number of author/co-authors registered (India & Abroad) were 153.
All accepted and presented papers of ICMMIT-2022, will be submitted in “Elsevier Materials Today: Proceedings” (indexed in SCOPUS or “IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering” (indexed in Web of Sciences) for publication.
There were authors from more than 88 institutes from pan India and abroad which included Technologico de Monterrey, Monterrey, Mexico, National Taipei University of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, IIS Bangalore, BITS Pilani, Hyderabad, Jadavpur University, NIT Durgapur and many more.
The first day of the conference marked the inaugural ceremony wherein all the dignitaries including Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, Vice Chancellor of Amity University Jharkhand, Prof. (Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director of Amity University Jharkhand, Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi Registrar of Amity University Jharkhand graced the occasion with their presence.
The chief guest of the inaugural ceremony Prof.(Dr.) Mukul Narayan Deo, Vice chancellor, Vinoba Bhave University, Jharkhand, explained about “Fourier Transform Spectroscopy: A Versatile Technique”. He introduced everyone to the need, meaning, working principle, applications and factors that affect Fourier Transform Spectrometers.
Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand said that ignorance is a bliss for scientific research. No matter how small an idea, just carry on with it and he also suggested thinking a lot in the proper direction.
Prof. (Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director, Amity University Jharkhand talked about international scholars and how they share the ideas in order to explore more knowledge. “It is the management of man, material and things. This technology has made the entire labor force shift from the real to virtual world which made our work easier”.
Thereafter, Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University Jharkhand said that Information Technology is necessary for every scholar to cope up with industry 4.0 as this is widely used.
