Kolkata, May 27: Another model was discovered dead at her Kolkata home in the Patuli neighbourhood today, the city’s second such incident in three days, according to police.
Manjusha Neogi, according to her mother, was suffering from severe depression following the death of her friend and colleague in the profession, Bidisha De Majumder, two days prior.
“My daughter was severely depressed following her friend Bidisha’s death and was constantly talking about her since then,” said Niyogi’s mother.
Notably on Wednesday evening, Bidisha Majumder, a well-known figure in bridal make-up picture sessions, was discovered dead in her leased residence in Kolkata’s Dumdum neighbourhood.
According to a police officer, Neogi’s body was taken to a hospital for a forensic analysis to determine the exact cause of death.
