Ranchi, Feb 17: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) on Friday released the revised results for the 6th Jharkhand Combined Civil Services. As per the results, a total of 60 candidates’ results have been declared unsuccessful. As a result, all 60 of the candidates are set to lose their jobs. Notably, a total of 326 candidates were declared successful in the earlier results released by JPSC.

Candidates may check the results by visiting the official website of JPSC, www.jpsc.gov.in. As per the notification released the step has been taken by the JPSC after the order of the Jharkhand High Court released on February 23.

Notably, the Jharkhand High Court’s order of February 23, 2022, related to the Sixth Combined Civil Services Examination conducted by the JPSC was initially not complied with by the State Government and the Commission so far. Advocate Amritansh Vats, as a result, had filed a contempt petition in the High Court on behalf of the applicant Mukesh Kumar for non-compliance of the order even after the lapse of two weeks on March 9.

Advocate Vats had said that a single bench of Justice Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi had ordered the release of fresh results within eight weeks, setting aside the 6th JPSC result and recommendation on June 7, 2021. Along with this, the government had also been asked to send a recommendation.
