Ranchi, Aug.10: BJP legislature party chief and former chief minister of Jharkhand Babulal Marandi has advised Chief Minister Hemant Soren to limit his campaign with political opponents at gunpoint to the politicians and not to extend its scope to their children and family.
The advice has been given through a tweet message after it came to the knowledge of Marandi that the West Bengal police is allegedly harassing the old mother of Congress MLA Rajesh Kacchap.
“An advice to Chief Minister Hemant Soren Ji—Limit your campaign to deal with political opponents as gun point to the politicians. Don’t play the suicidal dangerous game to extend its scope to their children and family…….The people of Jharkhand are watching every repressive action with your perverted mindset……” the tweet reads.
Before giving the advice through a tweet, Marandi tweeted expressing his concern over the action of the West Bengal police harassing Congress MLA Rajesh Kacchap’s mother.
“It is being learned from the news that the old mother of tribal MLA Rajesh Kacchap, who is a farmer, is also being harassed by the Bengal police in the name of interrogation. I do not understand that if the MLA’s son has done or not done something, then what is the fault of his mother in this is,” Marandi tweeted.
