Ranchi, Oct 18: Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Kapil Moreshwar Patil, while addressing BJP-backed people’s representatives of Panchayati Raj in Harmu ground asked them to become key of their villages.
Explaining why, he said: “Practically, a house’s size is smaller than a plot, doors are smaller in size than houses. The locks of those houses are even smaller than the doors and a Key’s size is the smallest of all. However, people rely the most on keys and when they lock the doors, they feel secure leaving their homes.”
Around 1000 people’s representatives coming from different parts of the state were present on the occasion with several senior BJP leaders including BJP state president Deepak Prakash, state organizing secretary Karamveer Singh, BJP legislature party chief and first chief minister of Jharkhand Babulal Marandi and former chief minister Raghubar Das besides a section of MPs and MLAs.
Patil expressed his desire to see every people’s representative of Panchayati Raj as a union minister and for that, he suggested them to not miss working opportunities. He asked workers to minimize their desire for a happy life.
“Safar Mein Saman Kam Rakhenge to Safar Ka Maza Milega aur Jindgi Mein Arman Kam Rakhenge to Jindgi Ka Maza Aayega,” Patil said.
Patil on the occasion praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his outstanding performance saying that now it is proved that a ‘Chaiwala’ can take India to a respectable position across the world. He said Narendra Damodardas Modi is not merely a name but a faith, dream and self-confidence.
Earlier in his address to the people’s representative, Babulal Marandi stressed upon the need of improving the requirement of better implementation of policies formulated for rural development. He criticized the Hemant Soren government on the occasion and asked people’s representatives to think about ‘vote’ instead of ‘note’. He said development is not expected from those who are in power for money. Former CM Das shared the same feeling.
