New Delhi, March 11: Following a huge victory in Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party chief ministerial candidate Bhagwant Mann flew to New Delhi on Friday to meet with Arvind Kejriwal, the party’s national convener. On Friday, the Punjab Chief Minister-elect was seen leaving his Sangrur residence while telling the reporters that he is travelling to Delhi to meet AAP founder Arvind Kejriwal.

He also stated that he will congratulate Kejriwal on his party’s resounding victory in the Punjab elections.

On government formation, he said that he will meet the Punjab Governor tomorrow and will get a date evening.  Oath-taking ceremony of the new Punjab cabinet will be held at Khatkar kalan in Nawanshahr district, the ancestral village of legendary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.

“I will take CM’s oath from Khatkar Kalan, the birthplace of Shaheed Bhagat Singh,” said Mann yesterday.

“I am going to meet party convenor Arvind Kejriwal, will give you the date (of swearing-in) by today evening. Will meet the governor tomorrow, followed by oath-taking in (freedom fighter) Bhagat Singh’s village Khatkar Kalan,” Mann said.
