BIT Extension to organise Degree Distribution Ceremony on Dec 18

Ranchi, Dec 13: The Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Extension in the city is set to hold its Degree Distribution Ceremony at its premises on December 18, informed Dr Vandana Bhattacharya, Director in-charge, BIT Lalpur on Tuesday. Chief Guest on the occasion will be Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rabindranath Mahato, along with Prof Nisha Mishra, Dean, PG Studies, she added.

Further informing about the details, she said that a total of 583 students from courses including BCA, MCA, BBA, MBA and PhD. These include 10 degrees of PhD, 184 degrees of PG and 389 degrees of UG. She added that this is the seventh-degree distribution ceremony for the Extension, two of which were held online during the pandemic.

Regarding the attire, the professors informed that students will be dressed in traditional attire on the occasion, where boys will wear Pajama Kurta and girls will wear either suits or saris.

Dr Ashutosh Mishra, Department of Management; Dr Pranav Kumar, Academic Coordinator, Management Department; Dr Shiva Surya Narayan, Faculty in-charge, Examination; Dr Jaya Pal, Faculty in-charge, Examination were present on the occasion.
