Ranchi, March 23: BJP legislator Biranchi Narayan today pointed out the ploys which the state government took to deprive youths of jobs during the last three years.

Speaking in favour of a cut motion brought by BJP’s Ranchi legislator C.P. Singh on the budgetary demands by several departments, including home and prison, Narayan said: “In the first year the state government said there is no money in the treasury. In the second year the government said Covid disturbed the work. In the third year it pacified the youth saying it is the year of recruitment.”

He added that when the fourth year came, the ED and the CBI came to the state and started recovering money in crores of crores from the possession of bureaucrats working for the state government. He mentioned the name of Rajiv Arun Ekka saying the principal secretary to the chief minister was dealing with a file at the office of a private broker.

He, on the occasion, pulled up the ruling alliance for pretending to be a real Hindu saying the work of construction of temple has started across the country as those opposing the Ram Temple had realised that it would be difficult for them to survive if they play with the sentiments of Hindus.

He made the house aware of the changing stand of the CM on the local policy. He said first the CM said it was not possible to formulate a 1932 Khatiyan based policy. A year after his statement he all of a sudden convened a special session to take decision to frame a 1932-based local policy and started Khatiyani Johar Yatra. After some days, Narayan pointed out, the CM backed to square one on the issue and was now fearful to give any statement in the matter.
