Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren launched a scathing attack on the BJP, accusing the party of being desperate to exploit the state’s resources. He claimed that Assam’s Chief Minister has been “circulating in Jharkhand with an agenda for the past year,” alleging that BJP’s intent is to loot the state.
Soren’s remarks, shared on his social media platform, indicated that the people of Jharkhand will respond firmly to what he described as BJP’s conspiracy against the state. “By restoring the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) for the state’s lakhs of government employees, we’ve strengthened their future,” he wrote, contrasting it with BJP’s handling of public resources. “BJP has left employees defenseless, putting their rightful funds into market investments,” he added, charging BJP with designing schemes to deprive citizens of their resources.
The Chief Minister further accused BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) of seeking to abolish reservations, stating that while his government has worked to uphold the rights of employees, the BJP’s actions have only served to undermine these rights.
