Patna, Dec 14: Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, lost his cool during an Assembly debate when he was questioned about the Chhapra hooch tragedy, which claimed the lives of nine people.
Discussions were taking place on a number of subjects, including the Chhapra Hooch tragedy and the lathicharges committed against job seekers in Patna (CTET/BTET).

The opposition staged a walkout of the assembly when Nitish Kumar accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of being to blame.
Nine deaths were reported in the Saran district of Bihar’s Chhapra, adding to the state’s ongoing death toll from the drinking of fake alcohol. Family members of the deceased people claimed that their loved ones passed away as a result of drinking hazardous alcohol.
Three individuals died in the village while two more perished while receiving treatment at the Sadar Hospital during the tragedy, which occurred in the Doila village of the Isuapur police station area and Yadu Mor of the Mashrak police station region.
