Ranchi, Dec.21: BJP MLA Manish Jaiswal tore the paper related to a call attention notice in the Jharkhand assembly today on the issue of JPSC PT bungling before saying that several scams are taking place one after another in the state but the government is taking the demand of the opposition for granted.
As Jaiswal tore the paper, Poraiyahat MLA Pradeep Yadav demanded action against the legislator saying that is the matter of contempt of assembly. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Alamgir Alam and other ruling party members supported Yadav.
Speaker Rabindranath Mahto took strong exception to this and assured proper action in the matter by evening and adjourned the house till 2pm at 12.40pm.
Earlier, BJP legislator Neelkanth Singh Munda raised the issue of caste certificate by saying how the government by its notification dated March 5, 2021 allows a minority to get caste certificate on the basis of self declaration adding that it may pave the path of getting a Bangladeshi resident a caste certificate.
Munda was of the opinion that when getting caste certificate to a tribal is getting difficult on the issue of Lohar and Lohra, Baraik and Chilk Baraik, Munda and Bhuihar Munda, how come such action is being taken.
On this, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that every genuine person will get a caste certificate within six months and for this special camp will be organised in government and private schools.
On Munda’s fear of Bangladeshi citizens getting caste certificate in the state, the CM said it is reflection of BJP’s communal politics and it is the duty of state government to identify the Bangladeshi also. He said the government is to take care of all 3.25 crore people staying in Jharkhand, not those from Bangladesh.
