Bokaro: There has been a road accident in Bokaro-Ramgarh NH 23 near Bari cooperative turn this morning. A truck hit the scooty and the cyclist strongly. Arun Kumar Ojha, a contract laborer, died in this accident. Along with this, an elderly cyclist also lost his life. The cyclist has not been identified yet.
Angry people blocked the road
After the accident, angry people have blocked the Ramgarh Bokaro main road. There is a demand of the agitators that a breaker should be made in Bari cooperative mode. They are also demanding compensation to the families of the deceased. As soon as the information was received, the city police reached the spot and tried to pacify the people. But there is so much resentment among the people that they are not ready to go off the road. Due to the road blockage, long queues of vehicles have formed on both sides of the road.
