Lovely World Entertainment proprietor Ajay Kumar Singh had filed a case against her after she took Rs 2.5 crore from him in the name of helping him in production of a film, Desi Magic, but never worked for the same and when Singh mounted pressure on her to return money she issued a cheque that bounced.
As Patel denied the allegation, the path got paved for the trial against her in the court.
Singh had come in contact with Patel in 2017. Advocate Jayaprakash argued on behalf of Patel while advocate Smita Pathak argued on behalf of Singh.
