New Delhi, July 5: The Border Security Force (BSF) of India took part in the ninth Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) member state border authority heads’ meeting, which was held in Kazakhstan on Wednesday.
Taking to Twitter, BSF said, “Indian Delegation led by Director General, Border Security Force of India participated in the 9th Meeting of the Heads of Border Authorities of the Competent Bodies of the member states of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation on 5th July 2023 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.”
Notably, following the forthcoming SCO meeting under Indian Presidency on July 4, Kazakhstan is scheduled to assume the SCO chairmanship from July 2023 to July 2024.
